Everguardly + Jira
Open a Jira issue per incident, comment on recovery.
Connect a Jira Cloud site and Everguardly files a Jira issue in your project for each incident, complete with severity, the affected monitor and a link back to Everguardly. On recovery it posts a resolution comment with downtime so support and engineering stay in sync.
What you can do
- Issue created in your Jira project on incident open
- Resolution comment on recovery
- Token encrypted at rest (basic-auth to Jira REST v3)
Setup
Connect Jira in Settings → Incident sync (site host, email, token, project key).
Open incident sync →Frequently asked questions
- How do I connect Jira to Everguardly?
- Connect Jira from your Everguardly dashboard (or via the relevant setup guide). It takes a couple of minutes — you authenticate once, choose what fires, and Everguardly handles the rest. Available on the Agency plan and higher.
- Does the Jira integration cost extra?
- No. The Jira integration is included on the Agency plan and every plan above it — there is no separate integration fee. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
- Is my Jira API token stored securely?
- Yes. Any credential you provide is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and decrypted only at the moment Everguardly needs to call Jira. Tokens are never shown again after you connect and are never returned to the browser.
